Where many web hosts offer unlimited email accounts, FastDomain offers 2,500 POP3 accounts and 2,500 IMAP accounts (which seems like more than enough). It does, however, offer 3 different webmail access solutions to choose from.

FastDomain also offers "only" 100 MySQL databases and 100 PostgreSQL databases. (And be aware that FastDomain does not offer phpAdmin, if that's important to you.)

If the absence of unlimited email and databases were reflected in the price, then this might elevate FastDomain to being a better buy than those web hosts with unnecessarily unlimited amounts of everything, but since it's not, you'll have to find another reason to choose FastDomain over the competition.

To its credit, however, FastDomain does have one of the shortest customer support response times around.

If money is tight and you have yet to register a domain name, FastDomain will save you a few dollars by registering it for you for free. It's one of only a few hosts reviewed on this site that does this.

If international business is important to you, be aware that FastDomain is one of only a handful of the web hosts reviewed on this site to offer international domains.

If you own a lot of domain names (or plan to), FastDomain offers hosting for unlimited domains with unlimited add-on domains, parked domains, and subdomains.

While not the number 1 web host for full DNS management (that's HostPapa), FastDomain is one of the better ones, offering more domain related features than most of the other web hosts, namely:

In terms of programming scripts and related services, FastDomain has pretty much everything the best of them do, except in lacking PHP 5.0 support and custom cron jobs. Site promotion support, however, is weak here, with free search engine submission being the only provided feature.
